I awakened this morning with this line of ancient wisdom stirring in my head: “endure hardness as a good soldier.”
I appreciate those who wait–those of you who know that good things come when you’ve done your part to be your best and don’t settle for anything inferior to your dreams. Thank you for showing [...]
While I was in Miami for the HeartCamp unConference in January, the brilliant and bright Osmara Vindel (@osmaravindel) and I got into a great conversation that begged to be captured, so we stopped for a moment to capture the rest of it on video. The result was a rich scan of [...]
As 2013 approaches, I’ve been courted by a few questions: Who could I be if I acted without fear? What would my life look like if I simply stayed true to myself in each moment? What does my community look like when I —along with everyone else— show up as my best, most realized self? [...]

We all bring our needs and dreams into the conversation–they need not be the same dreams or needs. What matters is that we are together, and that is a natural multiplier of our intentions. Kevin has been a guest speaker at my school, Bloom High School three times. He engaged my students the moment he started his speech because he had a wealth of knowledge, was personable, and motivating, The students really enjoyed the time Kevin spent with them. He spoke from personal experience, which caused the students to feel as though he was speaking to them personally and the students were eager to participate in the conversation. He left the students wanting more.
